This beautiful taupe parisisal (the queen of straws) was used to make this lovely wide brim hat. It's a wonderful neutral that goes with almost everything. And the huge silk flower is exquisite.
I used hand woven parisisal straw that takes a master weaver 10 days to weave by hand. Then it takes me 3 days to dye, dry, steam, block, shape, size and trim a hat.
Size medium 22". Measure 1/4” above your ears and around where a hat would rest snugly to make sure it will fit you, as hats are not returnable.
My hats have been featured in British Vogue, Brides and Victoria magazines, Weddings Magazine, Hatlines, VoyageLA and been worn at the Royal Weddings, Ascot, Buckingham Palace Garden Party, Kentucky Derby & Melbourne Cup. I also make hats for Disney and other studios here in Los Angeles.
USPS, UPS & FedX have raised their shipping fees for large boxes with wide brim hats. I'm very sorry but there's nothing I can do about this. However, my prices are wholesale to the public, as fine shops purchase my hats and double the price to their customers. So this will help to off-set the new higher shipping fees.
This is not a rain hat and should not be exposed to rain.
Some countries may charge a customs duty, which I have no control over. This may delay delivery by several days.
